Benjamin founded Newcastle Chamber Choir in 2019.
The choir aspires to raise and promote the global standard of Australian choral music, with an emphasis on championing Australian choral works. The choir is known for their high-standard of performance and eclectic repertoire, regularly featuring international, contemporary, renaissance-multichoir and pop music.

Won two gold medals at the 13th World Choir Games, 2024 in Auckland, Aotearoa, New Zealand
Won two gold medals at the 12th World Choir Games, 2023 in Gangneung, Republic of South Korea
Conducted a concert at Government House, Tasmania, hosted by Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC on her first official occasion in office
